The best personal coaching that money can buy at an affordable rate - our coaches mission at LCTC is to develope their students to succeed within the sport of tennis as well as building responsibility, accountability, and a mental fortitude rarely seen in Junior Players.
Whether you're new to the sport, or a tournament seasoned veteran, private and/or group lessons are the pinnacle of player developement. Group lessons are a wonderful and fun way to introduce new players to the sport while allowing them to develope fundamental skills in a friendly environment. Private lessons are the quintessential ingredient to advanced stroke developement, tournament readiness, mental toughness, and longterm success within the sport of Tennis.
10&Under Tennis is rapidly growing throughout the United States and Europe, and for a good reason. The USTA has released specific recommendations for differently aged (and skilled) players. Although every student is an individual and there can always be exceptions to the rule; the USTA has done extensive research proving the benefits of court-size reduction and ball decompression regarding Junior Player Developement.
The reason for using specially-sized courts is to improve a young players core game much more rapidly. These recommendations specify ages and developement ranges in order for the parents and/or coaches to make the most informed decisions possible when placing the student on the court. Students who begin their tennis careers on the appropriate sized courts, with the appropriate ball generally experience a higher level of success and less frustration than those who choose not to.
Tennis challenges you to improve, to hit your strokes and develop your strategy to become a more efficient, effective player. When you improve your game, you don't just become a better player. You also get the satisfaction that comes from mastering a skill.
That's where coaches and tennis lessons come into the picture. When you get serious about your tennis, even if you're just playing for fun, you need to consider taking tennis lessons.
No tennis instructor, regardless of how much experience and talent he or she has, can turn you from a beginner into Monica Seles or Pete Sampras in one hour-long lesson (or even three, for that matter!). However, an instructor can help you improve your game in some very concrete ways, starting with Lesson 1.
It is absolutely imperative when attempting to improve your game to ensure that you have a strong foundation regarding the fundamental tennis strokes. Many players lose power, control, or both during matches from simply having an incorrect grip on the racket - and/or from poor stroke execution.
Our Fully Certified Professional Tennis Coaches will assess the current status of your foerhand, backhand, serve and volley while providing direct and insightful tips to improve in each of those areas. If you're having trouble with a particular portion of your swing, our coaches can help you develope that specific portion of your game through the use of time-tested drills and techniques.
Having trouble with Court Positioning, Singles or Doubles strategy? Let our Fully Certified Tennis Coaches take your court-cunning and prowess to the next level with Private or Group Lessons.
Proper Positioning and knowing the likely strokes of your opponents can save you time and frustration on the court. Play the field to your strengths, force your opponent to hit difficult returns, and take your knowledge of the game to the next level. Our coaches will not only help you develope your physical game, but your mental game as well.
