Jorge Andrew - Director of Operations

     A former Venezuelan Davis Cup player and captain, Andrew played on the professional tour for more than ten years, including appearances at Wimbledon, U.S. Open, French Open and Australian Open. His highest world singles ranking was 61st in singles, while he reached 69th in doubles.

     Jorge is the Immediate President of the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), the largest and most global teaching organization in the world.

     Andrew is a member of the USTA National Local Play and Competition Committee. He is a member of the USTA Southern Junior Team Tennis Committee and member of the USTA South Carolina Tennis Coaches Committee.

     Jorge is a PTR International Clinician and Tester in Junior and Adult Development, one of the original USTA National 10 and Under Master Trainer, and is on the National Advisory Staff and Speakers Team for Head/Penn.

     In 2008, Jorge received the USTA South Carolina Lucy Garvin Award as "Volunteer of the Year", the USTA Southern Quick Start Tennis "Trainer of the Year", the Racquet Sport Industry "PTR Member of the Year", and the USTA/USPTA "Community Service Award". Jorge was the 1991 PTR "Professional of the Year", 2003 and 2006 PTR Member of the Year for South Carolina, and the 2006 USPTA Southern Professional of the Year.

RJ Cunio - Teaching Professional


PTR 10&Under || PTR 11-17



            RJ enjoys focusing on junior tennis development, but is open to coaching players of all ages. As a product of the USTA JTT and Junior Tournament programs, RJ ranked in the top 325 nationally, and top 40 in the state of Florida as a junior. A 5.0 player, RJ enjoys being actively involved in his lessons, and also provides time as a paid hitting partner to competitive players.

            RJ Cunio most recently worked as the Junior Tennis Instructor at Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra, Florida. Before that, RJ spent time as an assistant Junior Tennis Coach at the St. Johns Tennis Academy.

Stan Seabrook - Teaching Professional

PTR 11-17 || PTR Adult Developement



            Stan is originally from Columbia. As a public school Mathematics teacher he first got involved with tennis by volunteering to sponsor extra co-curriculum activities for middle school age children.

            Stan is an accomplished player and coach. He has competed and won at all level of the NTRP (National Tennis Rating Program). Stan has coached JTL (Junior Tennis League), and USTA JTT (Junior Tennis Team) teams to Division and Regional Championships and he has received the “Coach Of The Year “ honors in both. Stan is a PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) Certified Instructor in all categories 10U, 11-17 , Adults and Seniors. Stan has volunteered many hours at tennis events across South Carolina. He is a Tournament Referee and Official for the USTA (United States Tennis Association) and the ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association). He recently received the Official Of The Year award by the National Federation of High School Officials.

Ron Shelton - Teaching Professional

            Ron relocated here in South Carolina from Maryland where he was a Tennis Coach for the Girls and Boys teams at Wilde Lake Middle School. Ron has been involved in tennis, primarily as a coach, at various of competition including collegiate and adult leagues. He won the Maryland State Championship Singles, the Mid-Atlantic Championship Doubles and the ATA Nationals Doubles. He coached at four different high schools in both Virginia and Maryland. All of the schools at which he taught brought home either a county, regional or state championship trophy.

            As a teaching pro Ron has coached a number of players whom received tennis scholarships to major Universities. He is a member of the USPTA and has served as the Chairman of the membership committee as well as previosuly holding the title of President of the Maryland division.

            His motivation for coaching is the feeling that comes from contributing a meaningful part to a students life with hope that they will pass on the joy of the sport.
